Lea Höfmann

Lea absolved her bachelor’s degree at the UDE in physical chemistry. In Prof. Mayer’s group, she investigated the origin of life in deep-reaching tectonic faults. For her master, she concentrated on organic chemistry and joined our group for a synthetic internship, returning for an analytical project. Thereafter she decided to stay for her master’s thesis, concentrating on luminescent chalcogen compounds. Returning as a PhD student, she continues her work investigating novel dibenzochalcogenophenes.
