Monika Buchgeister-Niehaus helps the Research Group City Scripts with all administrative matters. She is also the office manager for the section North American Cultural Studies at the Department of Anglophone Studies, University Duisburg-Essen. 

Monika has studied German and Romance studies in Freiburg and worked as an editorial assistant before coming to the University Duisburg-Essen. She is also a freelance translator.
