Course program

The language course program can be viewed in LSF.

Prerequisites for the realization of language courses

1. Minimum of 13 course registrations in LSF. If there are fewer registrations, the course will be canceled in advance.
2. Minimum of 10 students who are actually present in the first session.
Attendance at the first session is compulsory.

Course formats

The IwiS language courses take place in different formats. There are face-to-face courses, blended learning events and online courses. Please refer to the course or group descriptions in LSF for the respective course format.  Synchronous e-teaching in blended learning and online courses (video conferencing/moodle) requires a stable internet connection, a webcam and microphone as basic technical equipment.)

Course attendance

In IwiS language courses, attendance is compulsory in both face-to-face and distance learning formats. Details can be found in the course descriptions in LSF.

Exams

The final examinations usually take place in person on Campus. It is not necessary to register with the examination office.

Registration

Registration for IwiS language courses takes place via LSF from March 19th, 2025 until April 3rd, 2025. Late registrations for DaF courses can also be made via LSF until April 10th, 2025, provided there are still places available.

Unfortunately, it is not possible for UAMR students and UDE employees to register for language courses via LSF. If you would like to attend a language course, please fill out the following registration form. It will automatically be sent to our mailbox sprachkurse@uni-due.de upon submission.

Placement tests

Taking part in an online placement tests is mandatory for general language classes of the following languages: English, French, German (DaF), Italian, Spanish
