Course program
The language courses program of the winter semester 2025/26 can be viewed in LSF.
Course attendance
In IwiS language courses, attendance is compulsory in both face-to-face and distance learning formats. Details can be found in the course descriptions in LSF.
Course formats
The IwiS language courses take place in different formats. There are face-to-face courses, blended learning events and online courses. Please refer to the course or group descriptions in LSF for the respective course format. Synchronous e-teaching in blended learning and online courses (video conferencing/moodle) requires a stable internet connection, a webcam and microphone as basic technical equipment).
Course registration
Registration for semester courses in the winter semester 2025/26 is no longer possible.
Registration for compact courses during the semester break of the 2025/26 winter semester will start January 12th, 2026 10:00 am.
Registration for courses of the summer semester 2026 will start March 19, 2026.
Unfortunately, it is not possible for UAMR students and UDE employees to register for language courses via LSF. If you would like to attend a language course, please fill out the following registration form. It will automatically be sent to our mailbox sprachkurse@uni-due.de upon submission.
Exams
The final examinations usually take place in person on Campus. It is not necessary to register with the examination office.
Minimum number of participants
1. Minimum of 13 course registrations in LSF. If there are fewer registrations, the course will be canceled in advance.
2. Minimum of 10 students who are actually present in the first session.
Attendance at the first session is compulsory.
Placement tests
Taking part in an online placement tests is mandatory for general language classes of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian, Spanish
