Our programme is primarily addressing students from developing countries with an academic background in social science and working experience related to the subjects of Development and Governance.

The application period for the Helmut Schmidt scholarship-funded programme for the academic year 2027/2028 has finalised at the end of July.
The application period for self-financed candidates of the DevGov Master will be prospectively open again in March 2027 and is valid for the programme starting in October 2027.
Students wishing to prepare for the next year's application period for the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt-Programme (Master's Scholarship for Public Policy and Good Governance) aiming for the intake of the academic year 2028/29:
