Research Data Day in NRW

Research usually begins like a seed, from which a large project emerges over time through research data. Data that is supposed to grow needs a lot of care so that it can blossom and bear fruit. A variety of practices and tools for research data management can help you with this.
Under the motto "Into the data garden: Let your research bloom!" the State Initiative for Research Data Management - fdm.nrw organised a NRW-wide virtual morning program at November 12, 2024 with exciting presentations.
In the afternoon, we invited you to a networking meeting on research data management in the library hall (Bibliothekssaal) at the UDE campus in Essen.

Poster exhibition
As part of the event, participants had the opportunity to find out more about RDM topics at the UDE in a poster exhibition.
We were pleased to receive contributions from the consortium NFDIxCS and the Data Competence Center Rhine-Ruhr (DKZ.2R), the INF projects of SFB / TRR 270 HoMMage, SFB / TRR 196 MARIE, SFB / TRR 269 LOCOTACT, CRC 1430 and the network terahertz.NRW. And, of course, we provided insights into the support services offered by the RDS.
