We are currently looking for a

PhD candidate (m/f/d) in Computer Science (EG13 TV-L).

Your main tasks:

Within the scope of your employment in the Software Engineering group, you research in one or more of the following research areas:

- Secure Software Development
- Privacy
- Software Architectures
- Requirement analysis
- Formal methods of software development

In addition, as a research assistant (m/f/d) of the chair, you will be involved in preparing and conducting courses in German and English. If necessary, your support in general administrative tasks at the chair is also desired.
In order to train and further develop your skills in these areas, you will be supported by the continuing education program of the University of Duisburg-Essen.

Within the scope of your work, you have the opportunity to gain further academic qualifications (PhD).

Your profile:

You have successfully completed a university degree in computer science, business informatics, technical informatics, applied cognitive and media science, or a related field of study of at least 8 semesters or will complete it within the next 3 months? The work with complex issues and the development of solutions are not a vice for you, but a passion? You are creative and enjoy working in a team? In addition, you like to teach your knowledge in courses and present your work at international conferences?
