Hydrogen in Context

About us

Together with their cooperation partners, the researchers at the university want to initiate projects that significantly advance the field of hydrogen. This is considered a key element for the energy transition. The goal is to strengthen the UDE, its partners and the Duisburg-Essen location in this promising field.

Hydrogen - Research at the UDE

Research in the field of hydrogen is in greater demand than ever before. Our aim is to provide high-quality and diverse research approaches in order to establish sustainable hydrogen strategies and develop concrete technology solutions. In doing so, we build on interdisciplinary, cross-departmental cooperation to bundle the know-how of the UDE in a targeted manner.
