Hydrogen in Context
About us
Together with their cooperation partners, the researchers at the university want to initiate projects that significantly advance the field of hydrogen. This is considered a key element for the energy transition. The goal is to strengthen the UDE, its partners and the Duisburg-Essen location in this promising field.
Hydrogen - Research at the UDE
Research in the field of hydrogen is in greater demand than ever before. Our aim is to provide high-quality and diverse research approaches in order to establish sustainable hydrogen strategies and develop concrete technology solutions. In doing so, we build on interdisciplinary, cross-departmental cooperation to bundle the know-how of the UDE in a targeted manner.
People
Hydrogen is attracting enormous interest at the UDE. The current consortium is composed of professors, research assistants and cooperation partners who have achieved high visibility at national, European and international level. Take a look at who is involved.
Well connectedCooperations
Through cooperations with the faculties of chemistry and physics as well as other affiliated institutes and industrial partners, the field of water research at the UDE is currently developing steadily. If you are interested in a cooperation, please contact the responsible persons of the research coordination (see footer).
