The Keynote was held by Hans-Peter Grossart (IGB) on the topic of: "Microbial dieversity and functionality in aquatic ecosystems".

The WGS was represented by Annabel Hüsken (Biodiversity), Michael Leupold (Water Quality) and Henrike Walther (Urban Water Cycle).

In the last part of the programme Prof. Dr. Torsten Schmidt (UDE) talked about the topic: "Liquid Lies: Agueous Fringe and Pseudoscience"
