Information Pandemic-related changes

Due to the current situation, the course will take place as e-learning on the Moodle platform. We have decided to use, where possible, asynchronous learning to reduce the risks. Each student carries out two experiments in a group of up to 5 people. The experiment " Reglerparameter einstellen " is completely asynchronous and the experiment " Drehzahlregelung " is partly synchronous. Both consist of three phases, with the first (preparation) and third (evaluation and correction) phases being the same for all experiments. In the first phase the experiment is prepared. In this phase, the preparatory tasks and a written test called “Antestat” are solved in Moodle. The implementation and evaluation (phase 2-3) can only be done if the Antestat is successful. The solved preparation tasks, the results of the experiment and evaluation must be uploaded to Moodle by the specified deadline. You may receive comments and requests for revision of the uploaded materials from the respective supervisor(s).

Information Lecture content

The students will learn how to design, simulate and realize a controller on-line under real application conditions. For this purpose, different laboratory systems with real plants and design software (MATLAB) are available.
