One possible visit is to the Mehler Texnologies production site in Hückelhoven. Part of the Freudenberg Group since 2024, Mehler has stood for quality in the field of coated textiles for over 60 years. Whether stadium roofs, façade cladding, sun protection applications, tents or oversized advertising spaces, Mehler produces and sells around 50 million square metres of its products per year in over 80 countries worldwide.

​The other possible visit is the Zoom Erlebniswelt in Gelsenkirchen. In addition to the 900 animals from around 100 different species, the zoo offers highlights such as a boat trip through the Africa enclosure or the underwater glass tunnel in the sea lion enclosure. In the Asia area, it is evident that zoos can no longer be imagined without membrane construction, as the tropical hall with a 4,600 m² ETFE foil cushion structure made by Vector Foiltec is located there.
