Thesis topic:  Human-Centered Design of Indicator Specification Cards in OpenLAP

Thesis description:  The indicator editor in OpenLAP provides an intuitive User Interface (UI) that supports end-users in developing their indicators according to their needs. The aim of the thesis is to extend the indicator editor in OpenLAP by providing Indicator Specification Cards (ISC) to help users design the indicators before implementing them using the indicator editor.  The design of the ISC should be based on the What-Why-How visualization framework by Munzner, the Human-Centered Design (HCD) approach, and UI design guidelines.
