Division of Movement and Training Sciences/Biomechanics of Sport

The research profile of the Division of Movement and Training Sciences / Biomechanics of Sport includes studies on the control and learning of movements in different populations (e.g. adolescents, adults, athletes, patients). In addition, the effects of physical training on motor performance are investigated, especially in children and adolescents. Furthermore, analyses of the biomechanics of the ankle complex and the function and adaptation of the lower leg musculature are performed.
