The InnoCimFWC (Innovative Campus Information Management System in the FutureWaterCampus) project enables the successful development and systematic operation of the FutureWaterCampus (FWC) - a strategic cooperation project between the Center for Water and Environmental Research (ZWU) and the ) Institute for Construction and Construction Management (IBB). Through the leadership of the IBB, the ZWU is also being professionalized through the information and communication technology (ICT) supported program management.

The campus information managementsystem (CIM)
The Campus Information Management System (CIM) is developed, implemented and evaluated in close cooperation with the ZWU. In the CIM, processes are visualised via process maps and monitored via Quality Score Card. Since the overall project is, among other things, a building that is closely connected to the research and development taking place in it, the methodology of Building Information Modelling (BIM) is included. In order to ensure that CIM issues are already integrated and implemented in the tendering process and in the construction of the building belonging to the FWC, AIA and BAP are created and the 3D building model is continuously expanded with this data.
In order to create a sustainable culture of innovation at the FutureWaterCampus, an important role in organisational development must be attributed to the effective interlinking of all actors involved (scientists, companies, stakeholders, external experts). The InnoCimFWC project is concerned with the implementation of this task. For this purpose, a consistent management system (incl. project prioritisation and selection) and utilisation concept aligned with "vision & mission statements" must be developed, built and established.
