Bachelor’s degree – and then what?
Consultation
The final phase of your bachelor’s programme may involve some uncertainty, especially about your future plans: you need to weigh all the options in terms of financial, time-related and personal aspects and then compare them to the needs of the job market.
If you are not sure whether to go straight into a job or start a master’s programme after earning your bachelor’s degree, we can offer consultation and support in making your decision. The aim is to help you actively explore all the options, and ultimately gain clarity about the alternative that best suits you personally so you can choose the best path.
Consultation process and structure
Send us an email requesting a consultation and we will get back to you to make an appointment. During our first meeting, we will explain the consultation services we provide, and you can tell us what stage you are at in your studies and what thoughts and questions you have about what comes next. After that, we start looking at specifics.
We will schedule at least one more consultation session, where our discussion will build on the outcomes of your research and your consideration of the various alternatives in order to arrive at a well-founded decision. We will give you suitable material to guide you in your efforts between the meetings.
Then comes the decision-making process. To help you in this, we use methods for comparing the options, which also incorporate your own weighting of the pros and cons as well as personal factors. Finally, we will briefly plan the next steps (application for or enrolment in a master’s programme or your preparations for job application).
