Dr. Anja Gampe

Anja Gampe worked at the MPI for Evolutionary Anthropology, Leipzig, Germany, from 2004 to 2010 and attended the University of Portsmouth, UK, in 2006. She received a Master's degree in Linguistics, Mathematics and Sinology from the University of Leipzig, Germany, in 2010. Her PhD studies were supported by a scholarship at the MPI for Cognitive and Neuroscience in Leipzig and she received a PhD (Dr. phil.) in Psychology from the University of Zurich, Switzerland, in 2013. From 2013 to 2020, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Zurich. Since 2020, she has been a postdoc at the Graduate Programme. Anja Gampe is interested in interaction processes. In her research, she investigates the interface between cognitive development and language acquisition, especially in children growing up with two languages and two cultures.
