Electromagnetic Compatibility

Every electrical device emit wanted and unwanted signal in from of e.g. electromagnetic waves. This signals might act as potential sources of interference for other electrical devices.

The goal of the electromagnetic compatibility, short EMC, is to recognize and reduce this affects to guarantee an undisturbed operation of electric devices.

Research

Because of the development of new electrical technologies, new potential sources of interference are created. To guarantee a undisturbed operation the EMC has to study and define procedures how to deal with this interferences.
