Chronic diseases and disabilities

Chronic diseases and disabilities

Another goal of the WGS is also to support people with chronic diseases or disabilities during their (post)doctoral research and also to reduce barriers. In order to achieve this, the WGS will do its best to make all events barrier-free, taking into account the checklist of the Federal Competence Center for Barrier-Free Accessibility, for example, sufficient breaks, information points, reserved seating, but also different dietary needs. We are always open for suggestions, ideas and criticism and are happy if we can reduce barriers together and the WGS offers an open and inclusive environment.

If you have a disability or chronic diseases, you can find help in German on the page of the UDE's Inclusion Portal or contact Dr. Vanessa Kramer
