The Faculty of Educational Sciences positions itself as defined by the initiative „German Universities Open to the World“ against xenophobia and discrimination

The gender-related responsibilities of the faculty will be observed by a gender equality team with members of all status groups.

Members of the faculty participate in numerous sub-projects of ProViel – Qualitätsoffensive Lehrerbildung“ by the Minstry of Education and Research, which enhances diversity-related teacher training.

The issue of diversity is also covered by numerous regular courses.

In 2015 the faculty has conducted a project on gender and diversity mainstreaming on administrative level.
