As part of an ERASMUS+ project entitled Accelerating Teaching – Research Facilities to support STEM Teaching, my film production company "Making Science the Star", in collaboration with the European Spallation Source (ESS) and with financial support from the EU, has produced a series of short films for teachers and students in upper secondary school science classes:

 

Cinematographic production 

Based on my original ideas, I co-wrote, produced and acted in the scripts:

  1. Science in the city, Science dans la cité, (2020), a series with 26 episodes x 26 minutes, which approaches scientific topics through cinematic storytelling
  2. Une vie d’absences, (2022) "A life of absences", a short film about the perception of autism in rural African areas
  3. Seeds of science, (2026). A film about young girls in science from remote areas and who struggle to escape early marriage and make a career in science

Campaign manager

With the film productions and as part of the project Making Science the Star, which I run, we campaign in African schools, universities and public events and to educated audiences around the world to spark conversations about science and science culture, and also invite actors, celebrities, journalists and policy makers to engage with audiences. We have been to:
