How to Apply – M.Sc. Computational Mechanics
For Non-EU Applicants | University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE)
Interested in studying Computational Mechanics at the University of Duisburg-Essen? Here is a quick overview of the application process.
Application Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree: A relevant or equivalent engineering degree.
- Language skills: English B2 at the time of application and German B2 no later than enrolment.
- Application route: Apply directly through the UDE application portal.
- Academic assessment: The ISE Examination Board reviews your academic eligibility. Additional courses may be assigned if required.

After Admission
- Apply for your student visa.
- Arrange health insurance and accommodation.

Important: Applications for ISE Master’s programmes are submitted directly to UDE, not via uni-assist.
