How to Apply – M.Sc. Computational Mechanics

Interested in studying Computational Mechanics at the University of Duisburg-Essen? Here is a quick overview of the application process.

Application Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree: A relevant or equivalent engineering degree.
  • Language skills: English B2 at the time of application and German B2 no later than enrolment.
  • Application route: Apply directly through the UDE application portal.
  • Academic assessment: The ISE Examination Board reviews your academic eligibility. Additional courses may be assigned if required.

After Admission

  • Apply for your student visa.
  • Arrange health insurance and accommodation.
  • Travel to Germany and complete enrolment at UDE.

Important: Applications for ISE Master’s programmes are submitted directly to UDE, not via uni-assist.
