Registration and abstract submission procedure
The registration and abstract submission process will be organized within ConfTool:
The conference registration process consists of the following steps:
1) Pre-registration in ConfTool (create an account)
2) Abstract submission in ConfTool
3) Acceptance notification
4) Binding registration as participant in ConfTool (with payment)
5) Full-paper submission (optional)
Pre-registration
If you plan to submit an abstract but have not yet finished the abstract, please do pre-register anyway before the deadline in order to have an overview of planned attendances (“pre-registration”). By pre-registration, there are no responsibilities incurred, i.e. cancellation is anytime possible without any obligations.
Extended abstract submission
The extended abstract should be written in English and may not exceed 2 pages. The review and decision of acceptance/rejection will be based on the extended abstracts. Only original contributions will be considered for presentation at the ECCOMAS Multibody Dynamics 2019 Conference. The extended abstract should convey the main ideas and contributions of the presented work, including their methods and advances with respect to existing literature and state of the art, such as to allow a methodological assessment of the novelty of the work.
A typical extended abstract contains an introduction with state of the art, a problem description, the applied methods, the obtained results, their discussion, as well as a conclusion followed by a list of most significant references.

Full paper submission
Full papers should be written in English and should not exceed 8 pages. Authors are asked to submit the PDF files as well as the corresponding sources through the ConfTool access site. The submission process will start on February 4, 2019 and end on March 29, 2019.

Binding Registration
Binding registration is only needed after acceptance of extended abstract and participation intend. The deadline for early bird registration is March 29, 2019 (time of payment). Later registration up to the conference dates is possible at the late fees.
Registration fees
The registration fees are as follows:

The conference fees include: book of abstracts, a data medium with conference proceedings, attendance to all scientific sessions, coffee breaks, lunches and social program.
The registration fee for accompanying persons includes lunches and the social program.
Student scholarship registrations
Student scholarship registrations (applications) are solicited directly to conference secretariat eccomasmultibody2019@uni-due.de containing the following information:
1) Title and list of authors of submitted abstract
2) The expected costs of the student’s participation including all budget positions (travel, accommodation, conference fee)
3) A curriculum vitae including date of birth
4) The motivation to assist the conference
5) A letter of recommendation from the supervisor confirming that funds are not available from the home institution to support fully the travel costs, specifying also the amount of funds that will be granted by the institution
Selection of awardees and height of scholarship will be based on the decision of a “Student Scholarship Award” subgroup of the Scientific/Organizing Committee. Decision will be communicated to the applicants together with notification of abstract acceptance on January 31, 2019.
