Apart from the INEF Staff, researchers affiliated with the Faculty of Social Sciences, other faculties and central scientific institutions of the University of Duisburg-Essen can also become INEF Members.

Members contribute to the goals and functions of INEF, namely the connection of basic social science research with applied research and policy advice in the areas of Global Governance, Development and Peace and Conflict Research.
