Dr. Jessica M. Szczuka Admitted to the Young Academy

The Young Academy is an interdisciplinary institution of the German National Academy of Sciences Leopoldina and the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW). It offers up to 50 selected early-career researchers and artists a platform for exchange and supports projects at the intersections of science, art, and society.

Dr. Jessica M. Szczuka is a postdoctoral researcher at our faculty’s Chair of Social Psychology, a research associate in the Department of Computer Science, and leads the INTITEC (Intimacy with and through Technology) early-career research group at the Research Center for Trustworthy Data Science and Security.

“I am very pleased to have been accepted into the Young Academy. Following my nomination by the University of Duisburg-Essen, I can now, as a new member, contribute my expertise to a group that focuses on the societal significance of artificial intelligence,” Dr. Jessica M. Szczuka told the University Alliance Ruhr.
