Ongoing and new doctoral projectsDoctoral procedure
After the new Faculty of Computer Science had been formally established, all ongoing doctoral procedures of the former ICB and the former INKO department were transferred to the new Faculty of Computer Science. Doctoral candidates do not need to take any action themselves for the transferring process.
The founding dean has appointed a new doctoral examination board. The former legal regulations continue to apply as long as the new faculty has not issued new regulations. Persons authorised to conduct examinations will in general belong to the new Faculty of Computer Science.
Doctoral candidates of the former INKO department Doctoral studies following the "Duisburg Procedure"
Applications for admission and examinations in accordance with the regulations of the Faculty of Engineering should be addressed to Prof Voigtländer.
Doctoral candidates of the former ICB Doctoral studies following the "Essen Procedure"
Applications for admission and examinations in accordance with the regulations of the Faculty of Business Administration and Economics should be addressed to Prof Davi.
