Theory meets practice: With the new RIS Talents program, the University of Duisburg-Essen is launching an exclusive support initiative for high-achieving and dedicated students. The program’s goal is to nurture top talent early on and connect them directly with attractive employers in the Rhine-Ruhr region. Bachelor’s and Master’s students in Business Informatics, Computer Science, and Business Administration are eligible to participate.

Following the kick-off event on October 21, 2026, participants will visit a total of seven partner companies over the course of the program year. During monthly in-person sessions, they will work together on practical case studies and gain exciting insights into day-to-day business operations. At the same time, the program offers ideal opportunities for networking and exchanging ideas with specialists and executives.

In addition to valuable practical experience, participants will receive a certificate of participation that enhances their résumé and can support their career entry. The program concludes with a closing event on June 29, 2027.
