Student Assistant (f/m/d) Sought for Computer Science Didactics

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Duisburg-Essen is seeking a student assistant (f/m/d) at the Essen campus in the Computer Science Didactics division to assist with the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of computer science workshops for high school students.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Developing new and revising existing student lab workshops
  • Preparing, conducting, and following up on workshops
  • Communicating with school representatives
  • Independently leading and supervising workshops with students

What You Bring to the Role

You are enrolled at a German university in one of the following degree programs:

  • Teacher Education in Computer Science
  • Teacher Education in other subjects
  • Computer Science without a teaching track

General Conditions

  • Start date: October 1, 2026
  • Contract duration: initially 12 months; long-term collaboration is desired
  • Work hours: 10 hours per week
  • Application deadline: September 15, 2026 (inclusive)
