Studio 47 Reports on the Moving Photo Exhibition “Seeing Through Different Eyes”

The regional television broadcaster Studio 47 is currently reporting on the exhibition “Seeing Through Different Eyes,” which was created in the photography course of the Human-Centered Computing and Psychology (MIPSY) degree program. The focus is on striking portraits of children with disabilities, who were photographed in a sensitive and respectful way by the students.

The project is led by lecturer Ditmar Schädel and is developed in close cooperation with Bunter Kreis Duisburg, which supports and accompanies the participating families.

The Studio 47 report not only showcases the photographic works themselves but also provides insights into the background of the project. It highlights how photography can open up new perspectives, create visibility, and foster empathy.
