Bus Service between the Campuses
Since 1 December 2025New Shuttle Bus Service with Minibuses (7 Seats)
Since 1 December 2025, the shuttle service between the UDE Duisburg Campus and the UDE Essen Campus has been switched to seven-seater minibuses. Departures take place from a central stop in Duisburg and one in Essen; the departure times can be found on this page.
Via app and on the webTrip Bookings
To use the UDE Shuttle bus, an online booking is required in advance. Bookings can be made via the 'UDE Shuttle' app or directly on the web.
- Trips can be booked up to 30 days in advance.
- If you cannot take a booked trip, please cancel the booking so that the seat can be offered to people on the waiting list.

The new shuttle bus service has been in a three-month test phase since the beginning of December 2025.
