Bus Service between the Campuses
Since 1 December 2025New Shuttle Bus Service with Minibuses (7 Seats)
Since 1 December 2025, the shuttle service between the UDE Duisburg Campus and the UDE Essen Campus has been switched to seven-seater minibuses. Departures take place from a central stop in Duisburg and one in Essen; the departure times can be found on this page.
From 29 December 2025 to 2 January 2026No shuttle bus service during New Year's week
The shuttle service will not operate from Monday, 29 December 2025 through Friday, 2 January 2026. This is in accordance with the UDE's general working hours regulations.

The new shuttle bus service has been in a three-month test phase since the beginning of December 2025.
