Unfortunately, the minibuses that have been operating since 1 December 2025 on the shuttle service between the two main campuses in Duisburg and Essen do not have a step-free entrance and are therefore not accessible.

If you require barrier-free access and/or need to bring a non-folding wheelchair, please notify us of your travel requirements as early as possible by email (campusmobilitaet@uni-due.de). In addition to the date, time and direction of your desired journey(s), please also provide a telephone/mobile number and email address where you can be reached promptly to clarify any queries. We will then immediately attempt to book the desired journey for you free of charge with an external company and inform you accordingly.
