Entrepreneurship & Transfer at the UA Ruhr
As a joint platform of the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr), the Founder Initiative Ruhr coordinates activities in start-up support, knowledge and technology transfer and initiates new projects. Thanks in particular to the awards as Excellence Start-up Center.NRW and EXIST potential, extensive transfer and start-up structures have been established at the three universities. The UA Ruhr is therefore today a nucleus for technology-based start-up projects.
BRYCK Startup Alliance
The BRYCK Startup Alliance, a joint initiative of the Ruhr University Alliance (UA Ruhr), the RAG Foundation and the Initiativkreis Ruhr, brings together activities in the fields of entrepreneurship, deep-tech start-ups, and knowledge and technology transfer within an innovation and start-up centre. The aim of the alliance is to develop the Ruhr region into a leading European innovation and start-up hub for science-based technology start-ups, as well as to bring together academic excellence, industrial strength and long-term capital.
Catalyst GER – Shaping innovation and change
The humanities, social sciences and education sciences make key contributions to understanding social developments, conflicts and transformation processes.
Catalyst GER, an online workshop programme run by the UA Ruhr and five other universities, is specifically tailored to the humanities, social sciences and education sciences in order to facilitate transfer and secure long-term funding for these disciplines.
