Prof. Tak-Wing Ngo (Macau University) will deliver the keynote speech on “Scalar Restructuring of the Chinese State”.
During the first two days doctoral fellows of the GRK 1613 “Risk and East Asia”, UDE (Ningjing Ge, Yu Zou, Connor Malloy), Renmin UCS and Leeds University, UK will present their research projects. Prof. Ke Fan, Prof. Zengke He and Prof. Ping Qin along with Prof. Christiansen, Prof. Liu and Prof. Taube will comment on the research projects of the doctoral fellows.
As part of the seminar all participants will visit the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China (CCDI) to gain insight into how the anti-corruption campaign works in the social and political practices in the People’s Republic.
