The PRC’s Global Leadership Claims in the ‘Green’ Economy  |  Wed, May 27, 2020,

Abstract
This project assesses China’s evolving role and leadership claims in the fields of the green economy. The time frame covered are the years 2014 (new normal, new type of urbanization) to 2019. Following a role theoretical approach, the project evaluates the PRC’s new bargaining positions in multilateral fora as well as international organizations, and sketches the causal interplay between domestic system transformations and power shifts at the global level.
