Juliane Borosch
Biographical Information
Juliane Borosch studied History, American Studies, and Literature and Media Practice at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In 2018, she completed her combined M.A. degree with her thesis on “#OneChicago: Cross-Serial Narration and the Televised City.” She is now a Doctoral Researcher in the UA Ruhr graduate research group Scripts for Postindustrial Urban Futures: American Models, Transatlantic Interventions. Her dissertation project, tentatively titled “Jazzing Up the Climate-Friendly City,” investigates the conjunction of creative and sustainable urban development in a transnational comparison of Detroit and the Ruhr area.
