Consultation – for whom?
Our services are intended primarily for students at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) and are also available to University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr) students enrolled at UDE as visiting students.
Good research practice
Complaints related to safeguarding good research practice do not fall under the purview of the Ombudsperson for Students.
They are the responsibility of UDE’s ombudspersons for good research practice and are ultimately handled by the academic investigating committee for good research practice.
Quality of studies
You can let off steam at the Ombuds Office for Students – and it is also the right place to share inspiring, creative ideas, positive feedback and criticism to optimise study programmes and student services.
