We are pleased to announce that Professor Bettina Burger-Menzel, professor and researcher at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences, is going to give a guest lecture on
(Global) cooperation in environmental politics and the human factor.

About
Bettina Burger-Menzel is a professor and researcher at the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences. She graduated in Economics from the University of Mannheim, did her doctoral thesis at the University of Hamburg and worked in research institutes, associations and industry in Germany and abroad.
From April to June 2015, Bettina Burger-Menzel is working on the research Project “Lessons from innovation systems (part II): The cognitive self and its capability to practice and scale up network-based learning and adaptation” as Senior Fellow at the Käte Hamburger Kolleg / Centre for Global Cooperation Research in Duisburg.
Research Interests
Markets, Workable Competition and Public Policy, Creativity and Conditions for Innovative Behavior, Innovation and Diffusion Systems and Public Policy, Knowledge Societies and (Open) Interactive Learning, Technological Catching up and Social Innovations, Biotechnology and Development Economics.
