Four funded living labs are based on concrete innovations of existing corporate activities and value chains in the region between the agricultural and logistics sectors, the transport and mobility sectors, digitized logistics and regional strengthening of the bio-economy.

By applying the method of Urban Transition Management (UTM), the project aims to guide local stakeholders (governmental institutions, business representatives, civil society and academia) - the Quadruple Helix - to address and implement measures of adaptation and climate change mitigation on the basis of a sustainable urban development strategy.
