By Car:
Coming from all directions, take the Duisburg-Kaiserberg exit at the Kaiserberg interchange (A3/A40). Turn left at the traffic lights towards Zoo/Universität. There is a parking garage next to the NETZ building. Direct access from the highway is currently not possible. Due to the ongoing construction work, this access will only be possible at a later date. At present, the parking garage can only be accessed from Lotharstraße via Forsthausweg. Access is via the northern end of the parking garage. If a parking space is reserved for you at the NETZ, drive past the entrance to the parking garage, keep left and turn right after 50 meters. You will recognize the NETZ by its striped grey façade.
or:
Access via Lotharstraße opposite house number 24 is possible. (fire department access 3) Keep left, uphill, past the turning circle, straight on past the containers - Airliquide Tank, then right down the ramp (there are barriers on the right and left), straight on between the two buildings, park on the left in the parking lot between NETZ and ZBT.
Please use the parking lot between NETZ and ZBT (blue box).
By Public Transport:
Take the train to Duisburg main station. On the platform follow the signs “U-Bahn” to the northern end (to the head of the train if you are coming from Düsseldorf). There is a second exit leading to the bus station and the subway station. Take bus 933 or 926 (both in the direction of Uni-Nord). Get off after about twelve minutes at the Uni-Nord stop. Due to construction work, the position of the bus stops is currently changing frequently, so please follow the attached map. (Alternatively, take the subway line 901 in the direction of Mülheim (from platform 3 of the subway station) and get off at the Zoo/Universität stop. The journey time is shorter here than by bus, but the walk is slightly longer and it is best to use a cell phone app for the walk).
By University Shuttle:
Current information on how to get there by shuttle bus can be found on the university website
