This workshop is part of the activity of the Women in Supramolecular Chemistry Network (WISC) whose main aim is to increase diversity within the International Supramolecular Chemistry community. The aims of the workshop are to: - provide an introduction to standard experimental techniques used by the Supramolecular Chemistry community. - provide a mentoring framework for young researchers, particularly women. - initiate collaborations and peer group connections - promote inclusion and diversity within the Supramolecular Chemistry community through participation of diverse young researchers.

Das Science Support Centre (SSC) lädt zu einer etwas anderen Mittagspause ein. Angelehnt an die im US-amerikanischen Raum üblichen Brown Bag Sessions sind wir Gastgeber einer lockeren Zusammenkunft während der Mittagszeit. Dabei wird stets ein Förderprogramm aus dem Bereich der nationalen Forschungsförderung vorgestellt. Gespräche zwischen ehemals erfolgreichen und zukünftigen Antragsteller*innen garantieren einen informellen und fruchtbaren Austausch.

Funding Opportunities Fond der chemischen Industrie
Habilitation candidates and junior professors in chemistry and chemistry-related disciplines can apply for a material cost grant of up to 10,000 euros. This grant is intended to provide start-up support for the establishment of an independent research area. The money can be used by top early career researchers to procure special chemicals, equipment or specialist literature, for example.

Aspire is a special program for female graduate students within the CRC, offering motivation and support to obtain leading positions in academia, industry and public life. The program combines various formats: Women in leading academic and business positions are invited to deliver lectures and workshops (Aspire Afternoon). CRC1093 support for families
CRC 1093 Childcare wants to make it easier for CRC-members and their children to combine work and family life. A huge advantage of this project is the point, that babysitters, who have been working in the families before and who are familiar with the respective children, can join the CRC1093 Childcare project. Moreover CRC1093 parents receive individual support for the registration or finding of babysitters by the Parents Service of the UDE as well as for the billing and payment of child care services by the CRC coordination office. CRC1093 Parent-Child Room
Parent-Child-Room is a fully furnished carpeted quiet office room, separated from the laboratory area, with „Kinderbett, Wickelkommode and Spielzeug“ is available at all times for young parents within the CRC 1093. Location: T03 R04 D57. Read more.
This mobile kids table follows your children everywhere. It is equipped with crayons, felt pens and colouring books, a cd recorder with headphone and a variety of audio books. Last not least the kids can find a variety of other toys and games, comics and books.
Location: T03 R02 D64. CRC-members can take it any time and move it easily to their office, seminar room or other places.
