| The aim of this course is to learn object-oriented programming and the implementation of core application components using Java 25. Topics include object-oriented programming, databases, network programming, concurrency, and graphical user interfaces (GUIs). As part of the practical sessions, students develop their own project, which replaces the previous exercise format and serves as a prerequisite for admission to the final examination. | |

Practical Project SmaTable meets Gaming-Controller
| So far, a processing pipeline for EEG data has been developed to control a video game avatar using thought-based input. EEG data were collected, labeled, and interpreted by AI to generate game-controller commands. In the coming semesters, the pipeline will be evaluated and optimized and then transferred to our elasticAI.hardware platform, which will function as the game controller. | |
