Public Transport for Students
- Students of the UDE receive the so-called NRW-Semesterticket in addition to the VRR-Semesterticket with the payment of their mobility fee. It is valid for local transport journeys beyond the area of validity of the regional VRR semester ticket throughout NRW.
- Only valid in conjunction with the regional VRR semester ticket and a valid official photo ID.
Public Transport for Employees

Employees of the UDE have the possibility to purchase a company ticket. The company ticket is not transferable. However, the transport of bicycles is free of charge. Likewise, on weekdays after 7 p.m. and on weekends and holidays, you can take one adult and three children under the age of 15 with you free of charge in the area of validity.

Shuttle Bus Fast and convenient from Campus to Campus
Students and employees of the University of Duisburg-Essen can commute free of charge between the two locations within 20 minutes on a special bus route.

The project group "Attractive use of bicycles at UDE" is collecting ideas for measures to make the use of bicycles more attractive for members of UDE in the short term.
