Public Transport for Students
- Students of the UDE receive the so-called NRW-Semesterticket in addition to the VRR-Semesterticket with the payment of their mobility fee. It is valid for local transport journeys beyond the area of validity of the regional VRR semester ticket throughout NRW.
- Only valid in conjunction with the regional VRR semester ticket and a valid official photo ID.

The DeutschlandTicket, priced at €63, allows you to travel throughout Germany on regional and local transport. Long-distance trains and first-class travel are excluded. The subscription can be cancelled on a monthly basis and can be purchased via the app or from transport companies. Bus service between campuses Fast and convenient from Campus to Campus
Students and employees of the University of Duisburg-Essen can commute free of charge between the two locations within 20 minutes on a special bus route.
