On July 9, 2026, the workshop “Linguistic Discrimination in Higher Education and the Work Sphere” will take place at University Duisburg-Essen (Campus Essen). This colloquium focuses on the socially and economically constructed value of languages and the consequences of such value attributions — particularly linguistic discrimination — in higher education and the labour market (professional and academic contexts).

Bei den InZentIM Working Labs tauschen sich die Mitglieder zu den InZentIM-Profilierungsbereichen aus. Für diesen Termin ist zusammen mit dem DIFIS ein kollegialer Austausch und ein Wissenschafts-Praxis-Dialog zu „Alterssicherung von Migrant*innen – soziale Rechte, sozioökonomische Lage, individuelle Strategien“ geplant.
