New Master Plan: Duisburg Campus
New Master Plan for University Construction in North Rhine-WestphaliaCampus of the Future
A new phase of campus development is planned for 2026 at the Duisburg campus of the University of Duisburg-Essen. With new buildings and renovations, a ‘campus of the future’ is gradually taking shape: a place where innovative teaching, internationally competitive cutting-edge research and modern working conditions come together in ideal conditions – interdisciplinary, networked and open to synergies. Construction work is deliberately concentrated in specific areas so that teaching, research and campus life can continue as smoothly as possible during the construction period.
