Other award winners at the UDE in 2017
Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Gerd Heusch
is awarded the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia.
After having already been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit for his services to heart-attack research, now Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Gerd Heusch from the Medical Faculty of the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) has once again been awarded for his work in this area, with Prime Minister Hannelore Kraft presenting him with the Order of Merit of North Rhine-Westphalia.
Dr.-Ing. Patrick S. Kurzeja
has been accepted into the Young College of the NRW Academy of Sciences and Arts.
An outstanding young physicist at the University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE), Dr.-Ing. Patrick S. Kurzeja (31) has now been appointed to the Young College of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts.
