Windsurfing may be the mother of fun sports, but the sport has lost none of its fascination. For a few years now, windsurfing has been perfectly complemented by the absolute trend sport stand-up paddling (SUP). In this 5-day camp you will get to know and "love" both sports - we promise!

Have you already had your first windsurfing experience? All the better! The camp is aimed at all skill levels - from absolute beginners to professionals. Our VDWS teaching team simply aligns the course to your individual needs so that you can make the greatest possible progress in the five days.

Only a three-hour drive from the Ruhr area, the team awaits you in Hooksiel, right on the windy North Sea. Our tide-independent windsurfing area guarantees you rapid progress in windsurfing and SUP. After an introduction to SUP, the team will also take you on tours through the beautiful canals of Friesland.

The SUP / windsurf camp takes place parallel to the kite camp, so that you are a really relaxed group and you get to know a lot of nice fellow students!

Services at a glance

• 5 nights in permanent accommodation in Schillig, accommodation in 2-3 bed rooms, including final cleaning and linen package (bring shower towels), without meals
• Arrival should take place by Sunday evening
• Complete SUP and windsurfing equipment including neoprene suits
• 5 days of windsurfing training in small groups, introduction and SUP tours
• Supporting program as well as other sports opportunities on site (e.g. kitesurfing taster course)

Further sports possibilities on site

In addition to the SUP and windsurfing training, a sporting supporting program is planned for you. In addition to beach volleyball / soccer, you will get a taster course in kitesurfing. If that's not enough, there are still many options in Hooksiel, from bike rental to water skiing.

Arrival

The arrival takes place independently and is not part of the camp offer. Hooksiel can be easily reached by car in just under three hours. As a rule, car pools are formed among the participants. Arriving by train is also possible without any problems.
