The aim of BRIDGES is to establish a research network by setting up a joint research and innovation laboratory between the core partners. The project involves other partners from research, industry and politics to promote synergies in the sense of a comprehensive innovation community in the fields of solar energy, electromobility, second-life batteries and green hydrogen.

The aim is to find innovative technological solutions to global climate problems by creating environmentally friendly energy storage solutions. This will be done by using reused Li-ion batteries from electric vehicles in combination with green hydrogen.
