Your main tasks
You will take on research tasks in the MERKUR-funded project "Development of new photosensitizers for photocatalytic disinfection" in cooperation with the group of Dr. J. Karges at RUB.
Your profile
Above-average university degree in chemistry with a Master of Science degree.
We are looking for a motivated, dedicated employee with the following qualifications:
- in-depth knowledge in the fields of organic synthesis and polymer chemistry
- good knowledge in the field of photochemistry and nanoscience
- the applicant should be interested in learning microbiological methods.
- the evaluation and documentation of results, writing manuscripts for publication
- strong communication skills
- very good English skills
- ability to work in a team in an international environment
- goal-oriented, structured and self-reliant way of working, an appropriate contribution to the maintenance of laboratory operations is expected
- openness to new developments and creative solutions
