Your main tasks
- You will conduct research in projects on data science methods for energy systems and markets.
- You will also be involved in teaching and administrative tasks
Your profile
- An above-average university degree (standard period of study at least 8 semesters) in the field of statistics/data science, (economic/business/engineering) mathematics, (economic/business) computer science, (economic/business) engineering, (quantitative) economics/business, econometrics or similar.
- You are interested in energy or environmental related issues, interdisciplinary work and the development of data-based models and methods
- In addition, you have a strong background in probability, statistics, econometrics or data science, as well as knowledge of Python, R or C++.
- Some experience in analyzing problems in the energy systems and markets or environmental applications is also desirable.
- You are fluent in English, and willing to learn German.
Within the scope of the activity, opportunities for further scientific qualification (esp. getting a PhD) are offered.
