Annual Robert Huber Prize
Every year, the ZMB awards the Robert Huber Prize to the best graduates of the BSc and MSc programs in Medical Biology and Molecular Biology.
Congratulations! All winners since 2012 are listed below.
Robert Huber is a German biochemist and winner of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry. He received the prize in 1988 together with Johann Deisenhofer and Hartmut Michel for elucidating the three-dimensional structure of a photosynthetic reaction center—a breakthrough in understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying photosynthesis.
The Robert Huber Prize is awarded annually in his name to students of our degree programs in recognition of outstanding academic achievements. It aims to highlight and promote scientific curiosity and excellent work during their studies.
