If you are interested in a stay abroad within the framework of the Erasmus+ programme, please be sure to also visit the corresponding pages of the International Office as well as the Faculty of Humanities, where you will find a lot of important information.

The application deadline for stays abroad in the following academic year (winter and summer semester!) is 31 January. You can find the details of the application procedure here. It is recommended to contact the Erasmus representative of the institute before applying.

Aurora Exchange Programme


In addition to the Erasmus Programme, the University of Duisburg-Essen also offers stays abroad through the Aurora Exchange Programme. The UDE cooperates with 10 Aurora universities from nine countries, 7 of which offer philosophy studies:
