| Language Requirements | Since June 2025 there exists an English variant of our Master programme which requires English (level B2). For all other programmes German ist required. Here is a short description of the English variant. For more detailed information on the language requirements for the other programmes please follow the link.
Although the main language for all courses is German, single courses may be held in English language. For these see the LSF. |
| Special counseling services for refugees | The University of Duisburg-Essen (UDE) offers several possibilities for refugees in terms of advanced training, qualification, and sports. |

Information for current students
- In the learning and discussions center (LuDi) you can discuss current excercises with fellow students.
- Freshmen can participate in the faculty's mentoring program to receive help with organizational problems (e.g. study plan)
